On introduction she knows this is the same man that wore the mask at the party. Elijah pretends he does not know her. However, the attraction for one another is undeniable and one thing leads to another. Can Meredith be his dirty little secret or is that too much to ask for? Elijah is so close to getting what he has always wanted, to be president. Can he let Meredith in or will it be frowned upon, which could have a detrimental outcome for him. What about his campaign manager who has her eyes set on him. Is she the better choice to help his career? I enjoyed most of this story. At times I found that Elijah was a bit weak and was pushed around by his campaign manager. I wanted him to be strong and opinionated. I wanted him to go after what he wanted to show strength in all his decisions. I also at times found him to act immature considering he was 10 years plus older than Meredith. I liked Meredith she stood her ground and was the better person for it. I found the character build-up of her characters was great. The story flowed and had enough climax and angst, which I always enjoy. My only issue was at the end. I wanted a bit more and felt like the last part was a bit rushed. However don’t let this stop you from reading this little gem of a story. There is nothing like a future president with a dirty little secret or two.

This is an exciting sexy romance. Vivian Wood writes with a passion that ignites a romantic flame inside you. When Meredith a beautiful sexy blonde with sparkling blue eyes goes to a club where anything goes but you must where a mask. As she and her friend decides to blow off steam after graduating college her friend is off to travel an party where Meredith is off to work for her father as a newspaper journalist. When she starts drinking and see a tall dark handsome man with a body sculptor's would love and women would swoon. When he looks at her with beautiful gray eyes. She dances a hot erotic lap dance an thinks maybe shell give her virginity to this sexy stranger but her friend drags her out. Will Meredith see that mystery man again? Will she be surprised when she realizes who he is? Let me tell you this story has mystery suspense and forbidden romance and the author pulls you into the story like no other. I loved every page of this book. I felt Meredith's passion and pain of what would happen. And made me wonder if Eli deserves the loive she innocently gives him her virginity not know how deeply she has fallen in love with him. This is another great read by an amazingly talented author. I can't wait to see what's next by this talented author. I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because its an awesome read and wanted to let you know if your looking for a super hot romance this books is that an so much more.
I think this is my top read of 2017. I absolutely loved it. I was concerned about the political side but it wasn't like that. It just meant the relationship was forbidden. The torment, the secrecy, the most intimate of moments, just wow! Meredith had a great head on her shoulders. She was a strong h. Though I was a little bit disappointed in her forgiveness (that was done so easily). I loved how they felt about each other. I can't describe their relationship only that I loved how this book made me feel. I'll admit I did cry sad and happy tears. I was concerned when I started reading and I am so glad to admit I was wrong. Elijah was torn. The only negative thing I'd say would be in his position I don't think he'd have that much freedom. With that being said I don't care. I'm glad he went to the masquerade. I'm glad they took a chance. I'm glad the circumstances brought them back together. I can't stop smiling. I'd highly recommend.

This book was amazing. I love the His And Hers set of books and I found this to be a wonderful start to a wonderful series. I requirement reading them in order, in order to understand the place each person holds. But they can certainly be read in any order and enjoyed all the same. I definitely recommend picking up these books for an enjoyable, fun read.
